EZ-IP EZ-XVR2C16-4KL 16-Channel 8MP 4K Hybrid Penta-brid DVR No HDD

The EZ-XVR2C16-4KL is positioned at the top of the EZ-IP XVR series in terms of channel count: 16 channels compared to the 4-channel (EZ-XVR1B04, EZ-XVR1C04HS) and 8-channel (EZ-XVR1B08) models. With 16 analogue channels and additional IP channels for hybrid expansion, this DVR suits medium-scale CCTV installations.

16 cameras is a commonly specified count for medium commercial properties: a site with multiple external perimeter cameras, entry and exit points, internal corridors, and stairwells can comfortably fill 16 channels.

At 8MP 4K recording across all channels, the DVR maximises the image detail available from compatible 8MP cameras. For installations using EZ-IP 8MP full-colour cameras (EZ-HCC-T389A), the 4K DVR records each camera at its full native resolution.

The 4KL designation applies here as for the EZ-XVR1C04HS-4KL: 4K recording at a frame rate appropriate for analogue HD 4K, not necessarily 30fps.

As with all EZ-IP DVRs, this unit is supplied without a hard drive. For 16 cameras at 8MP resolution, a large-capacity surveillance HDD (4TB minimum, 8TB recommended for extended retention) should be specified.

The EZ-IP tier means no WizSense AI detection. For a 16-channel main-range Dahua DVR with AI, the main-series Dahua XVR range is the appropriate specification.
