The EZ-HCC-T359A delivers full-colour HDCVI performance at 5MP resolution, providing colour 24/7 video from an analogue camera connected via standard RG59 coaxial cable to a compatible HDCVI DVR. The camera uses a white LED illuminator rather than IR LEDs, providing colour night vision rather than the standard monochrome IR night footage.
5MP (2592x1944) resolution provides a good balance of image detail and storage efficiency: the resolution is higher than 2MP and 4MP cameras, showing more detail in faces and vehicle identification, but the storage per hour is lower than 8MP cameras, which matters in systems where storage days are a specification requirement.
The 40-metre white LED illumination range provides colour night coverage up to 40 metres from the camera position. Within this range at night, the camera produces full-colour footage. Beyond this range or in positions where the illuminator is obstructed, the image quality at night will be reduced.
This camera is the 5MP version of the EZ-IP full-colour analogue range. The EZ-HCC-T389A in this batch is the 8MP version of the same camera concept. Both cameras are full-colour HDCVI turrets with 40m LED and microphone. The choice between them depends on whether 8MP or 5MP resolution is the correct specification for the installation.
For CCTV installers fitting full-colour HDCVI cameras to existing coax infrastructure across London and the UK, the EZ-HCC-T359A provides the 5MP full-colour analogue option.
