6U 450mm Deep Wall Mount Network Cabinet Black Flat Pack Small Comms

Six rack units is the compact end of the practical wall cabinet range for active equipment installations. At 6U, the cabinet accommodates a 24-port patch panel (1U), a compact switch (1U), and a PDU (1U) with three remaining U spaces for an NVR, media converter, or cable management panel.

The 450mm depth provides the standard clearance for switches and NVRs that the 350mm shallow cabinet cannot accommodate, while being less deep than the 600mm full-depth option. For small comms rooms and network cupboards where a 9U or larger cabinet would be disproportionately large for the equipment count, the 6U provides the appropriate capacity.

The 6U cabinet is between the minimal 4U option (which barely fits a patch panel, switch, and PDU) and the more accommodating 9U option. Where any future equipment additions are possible, the 9U is a safer choice.
