EZ-IP EZ-XVR1C04HS-4KL 4-Channel 8MP 4K Hybrid Penta-brid DVR No HDD

The EZ-XVR1C04HS-4KL is a step above the EZ-XVR1B04 in the EZ-IP DVR range: same 4-channel count, but with 8MP 4K recording capability instead of 5MP. This makes it the appropriate DVR for installations pairing with EZ-IP 8MP cameras (EZ-HCC-T389A) where recording at the full 4K resolution is required.

The 4KL designation indicates 4K Lite or similar, meaning the 4K resolution is supported at a specified frame rate that may be below 30fps. This is standard for analogue HD CCTV recorders at 4K: full 4K at 30fps (4K real-time) is typically reserved for main-range and higher-specification DVRs.

Penta-brid compatibility is retained: the DVR supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS, and IP cameras, so it is not restricted to 8MP EZ-IP cameras. It can record 5MP cameras at 5MP and lower-resolution cameras at their native resolution.
