Dahua PFT1300 PoE Extender 1 Input 2 Outputs Extends PoE to 300m

Standard PoE Ethernet runs are limited to 100 metres of Cat5e or Cat6 cable between the PoE switch and the powered device. For CCTV cameras at positions beyond 100 metres from the switch (perimeter cameras at the far end of a large site, cameras in outbuildings, and similar long-run positions), a PoE extender placed mid-run extends the cable reach.

The PFT1300 receives one PoE input from the switch and provides two PoE output ports. A PoE camera connected to each output port is powered and networked from the extender position rather than needing to run back to the main switch. The extender itself is powered by the incoming PoE feed, requiring no local mains connection at the mid-run position.

The maximum 300m total distance means the extender can be placed up to 200m from the switch (within the extender’s extended segment reach), with cameras then connecting to the extender output at up to the standard 100m distance beyond the extender. The actual achievable distance depends on the cable quality and the current draw of the connected devices.

Two output ports allow two cameras to be served from a single extender installation, reducing the total number of extenders needed for multi-camera long-run installations.

The PFT1300 is different from the Dahua LR1002 ePoE over coax converter (also in this batch): the PFT1300 extends PoE over standard Cat5e/Cat6 cable; the LR1002 converts the network signal to run over legacy coaxial cable.
